Gary has spent his entire career working with middle market enterprises and their owners and have developed a broad base of experience servicing publicly-owned and privately-held companies within a variety of industries. Industries that he has developed a special emphasis within include manufacturing and distribution, professional services, energy, transportation, and real estate, and energy.
He also has specialized skills within the areas of taxation that include consulting for mergers and acquisitions, golden parachute payments, bankruptcy and other distressed organization, utilization of net operating losses, and inbound international tax and transfer pricing issues. Other services I have provided include tax planning and compliance related to family limited partnerships, estate and gift taxation, state and local tax planning, representation before the Internal Revenue Service, and GAAP financial reporting for FAS 109
