Through his roles, Scott has collective insight into a number of business hot spots, such as understanding the impact of cultural norms on doing business globally, joint venture operations, business process improvement, efficiency and effectiveness of operations, financial accounting and reporting cycles; corporate governance, risk and compliance initiatives; Foreign Corrupt Practices Act matters; start-up operations; environmental, safety, revenue accounting, division of interest, oil and gas production, refining, marketing and distribution, inventory, capital programs, maintenance programs, ERP implementation and use.
Major consulting projects have included SOX 404 compliance and consulting, risk assessment framework creation and facilitation, controls evaluation, internal control reviews, fraud investigations, financial due diligence and business transformation management.
