(PKF Texas) is pleased to announce Brian Baumler, CPA, Director, Audit; Scott Soles, CPA, Director, Audit; and Gary Voth, CPA, Director, Tax have been named to the2012 Who's Who in Energy list published by the Houston Business Journal. Baumler and Voth were named to the inaugural list in 2011 and this is Soles' first year to make the list.

Baumler leads the PKF Texas energy team. With experience on both sides of the desk as an auditor and the former corporate controller of a mid-cap oil and gas company, he understands the complexities of the industry. These skills not only translate well for PKF Texas clients, but to his position as the Co-Chair of the Energy Committee for the Houston Society of CPAs.

Soles augments the PKF Texas energy team from the risk consulting, internal control and process engineering perspective. He has spent his entire career working with international energy companies on a variety of projects around the globe.

Voth, throughout his 25 year accounting career, has worked with clients ranging from individual "Wildcatters" to multi-national oil and gas companies. His depth of knowledge has led to numerous interviews and speaking engagements, most recently moderating a panel of financial executives at the Total Energy Conference.

The Who's Who in Energy list recognizes 100 individuals from each of seven markets: Houston, Dallas, Denver, St. Louis, San Antonio, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. PKF Texas is the only firm with three individuals in Houston's Financial Services/Analysts category.
