What I do for Clients

Hi, my name is Debra, and I’ve worked for PKF Texas for 10 years. I have 40 years of experience in accounting. I love working with clients in the Construction, Family Office, Manufacturing and Distribution and Real Estate, focusing on domestic and international tax compliance and corporate and partnership tax compliance and consulting.

I appreciate my clients by being open and honest with them at all times, giving them the answers they need to make decisions that will impact their business.

When I’m not at work, you can find me following the Astros, spending time at the lake, or hanging out with my family.

What does it mean to you to be an “Approachable Advisor”?

It means that my clients feel comfortable coming to me with questions. Even if it’s not something I can answer immediately, they know I will do my best to find an answer, or find the right person for them to talk to. There’s also the friendliness aspect. I am one of those people who tries to get to know my clients on a deeper level. It can’t all be just business; I like to ask them how their PTO or vacations went and know if they have kids or grandkids. That doesn’t happen immediately, it occurs over time. I’m much better with long-term client relationships.
