Karen: This is the PKF Texas: The Entrepreneur’s Playbook® and I’m Karen Love, Director of Practice Growth. And I’m here with Kenneth Guidry who is President of PKF Texas and we’d like to welcome him to the Playbook this morning.
Kenneth: Thank you Karen. I’m happy to be here.
Karen: Fantastic. I’m glad that you’re here Kenneth. Now one of the questions we wanted to ask you is not only as the president of PKF Texas but also a leader in the community and the immediate past chair of the PKF North America Board. And what we’d like to do is get your perspective on how the accounting industry really plays an effect on business owners and their entrepreneurship and their success.
Kenneth: You know one of the trends that we all face, and as a business owner myself, a critical trend in our profession at the moment is just the supply and demand of qualified accountants.
Kenneth: That becomes a critical need for most business owners because it’s harder to find the accounting talent that’s necessary to help them with their own reporting as those perspective accountants have greater opportunities for alternatives –
Kenneth: in their business relationships.
Karen: Fantastic. Well it sounds like that needs to be an art these days with the competitive nature. So I’m wondering if there’s some more that you could share with us and we would ask you to join us again at another Entrepreneur’s Playbook.
Kenneth: I’d be happy to.
Karen: Fantastic. Well we look forward to that.
Kenneth: Thank you Karen.
Karen: Well this has been a Thought Leadership Production brought to you by the PKF Texas: The Entrepreneur’s Playbook®. Tune in next week for another chapter.
