Why did you choose to be a CPA and/or advisor?
My dad was a CPA and tax accountant, so I've been around taxes my entire life. It was always something that seemed interesting, especially tax, since the laws are always changing and you get to learn something new on a regular basis.
What energizes you about your job?
Tax compliance has to be done annually, but it is also sometimes like a puzzle that has to be solved or you can find ways to help clients with tax savings when new laws/incentives are implemented.
What energizes you about working at PKF Texas?
The positive atmosphere and the fantastic leadership is why it's great to work at PKF Texas.
Where are you from?
What do you do in your spare time?
I love to travel, but also I'm big into movies and TV, especially in this great age of fantastic TV shows.
What's your favorite season?
Winter, because we get cooler weather in Houston but not snow.
Do you own any pets?
I have three toy poodles who rule the house.
What's your favorite vacation destination?
London/UK and the Caribbean
