What I do for Clients

Hi, my name is Jamie, and I’ve worked for PKF Texas for 7 years. I have 25 years of experience in accounting. I love working with clients in Energy and Oilfield Services, Construction, Manufacturing and Distribution and Professional Services, focusing on transaction advisory services, outsourced CFO services, and strategic planning.

I appreciate my clients by treating their business like my own. Everything I do for the client, I do with that at the forefront of my mind.

When I’m not at work, you can find me driving my teenaged daughters around, investing in real estate, keeping up with the cryptocurrency space, or traveling the globe.

How do you help your clients make “Smart Business Decisions”?

It’s important to listen and observe to assess the situation. From a business advisory and consulting standpoint, we work with extremely talented CEOs, entrepreneurs, and senior management leaders, who know their business inside out. We find when they get outside what they know, they tend to move into a heightened emotional state. In our role, we have to be able to decipher the data-driven information and separate that from the emotional side of things. That assessment is the first step in helping our client make smart business decisions. Another element is understanding what I don’t know and being able to speak straight with the client and let them know I’ll find the answer or resources to get the job done. When they have the information they need from us, they can then make a smart business decision.
