The Turnaround Management Association (TMA) is hosting Dr. Arthur Laffer on September 12th at the at the Junior League.
Arthur Laffer is known as the Father of Supply-Side Economics and was a member of President Reagan’s Economic Policy Advisory Board for both terms. This should be a great event and I am looking forward to hearing what he has to say about America’s current and future economic state.
A little background on the TMA. It is a national organization which was originally organized to guide company’s through bankruptcy and restructuring. It has evolved into a great networking organization of bankers, lawyers, accountants and consultants that helps companies both restructure and, best case, avoid bankruptcy court altogether with proper planning and leadership.
