Introduction to Entrepreneurship at the Houston Technology Center

by | Aug 25, 2011 | Community Circle, Tecknowledgy

One component of what the Houston Technology Center does is to provide substantive  educational opportunities for entrepreneurs. I’m excited to share that I have been asked to speak at next week’s “Introduction to Entrepreneurship” workshop at the Johnson Space Center. The workshop will cover a broad range of topics from Basic Business Development to Selecting the Proper Business Structure and Form of Ownership. I join a great group of speakers including: Dr. Bernard Harris, President & CEO of Vesalius Ventures and former NASA Astronaut; Jonathan Taylor, Director of the Texas Emerging Technology Fund, Office of the Governor, State of Texas; and Greg Phillips, Attorney at Law, Phillips & Reiter PLLC.

I will be discussing Financial Assumptions and Projections. One of the most important things an entrepreneur needs to do from the start is have their financial strategy in order.

This is a must attend event for new entrepreneurs or those who are thinking of jumping into this dynamic and ever changing world.
