Developing your Mobile Strategy

Note: Running weekly in FromGregsHead.com, PKF Texas – Entrepreneur’s Playbook® is a continuing series of tips brought to you by Greg Price. These run Sunday evenings during the BusinessMakers Radio Show on KPRC 950AM.

Greg: This is the PKF Texas, and another chapter of The Entrepreneur’s Playbook. I’m Greg Price, director of consulting solutions, and I’m here again with Brian Gaubert, founder and CEO of ContentActive, one of our clients. Brian, welcome back to The Playbook.

Brian: Thanks, Greg. Thanks for having me.

Greg: You bet. So Brian, some companies are very serious about their mobile strategy, and some companies say, “I can see everything on my iPhone or smartphone,” is there a reason why someone should have a strategy in this area?

Brian: Absolutely. Mobile gives you the ability to connect with the person directly. If you don’t have that capability, then you are definitely missing the boat. An overall strategy is gonna give you that capability, both on mobile smartphones and on tablets.

Greg: So Brian, can you give us an example of something we can share with our viewers today about this?

Brian: Absolutely. You have a manufacturer that wants to get things back into the computer in the ERP system; they can use mobile technology to do it very, very quickly from the floor. That gives me immediate information about what’s going in manufacturer

Greg: It sounds like a great return on investment.

Brian: Absolutely.

Greg: Thanks for sharing that insight with us.

Brian: Thank you very much.

Greg: You betcha. This has been another Thought Leader Production, brought to you by PFK Texas, The Entrepreneur’s Playbook. Tune in next week for another chapter. And if you’d like to learn more about mobile strategies, go to ContentActive dot-com.
