PKF Texas: The Entrepreneur’s Playbook® – Greg Price

by | Nov 12, 2012 | PKF Texas - The Entrepreneur's Playbook®

Russ: This is PKF Texas, Entrepreneur’s Playbook.  I’m Russ Capper, sitting in once again for Greg Price, the director of Consulting Solutions at PKF Texas, because Greg is my guest once again.  Greg, welcome back to the Playbook.

Greg: Russ, thanks for having me back.

Russ: You bet.  So we’ve talked quite a bit about Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and NAV-X, and it’s so obvious that increased productivity, better control and organization, are really strong benefits, but are there also some unexpected benefits that customers experience?

Greg: Well, Russ, you know there are, as a matter of fact, and I can kind of share with you some things that we encounter.  We call it the human experience, and I’ll give you three examples.  First is the redeployment of personnel.  Rather than continually adding personnel to deal with the sifting through disparate systems, you can take these personnel and put them in different parts of the organization to be more effective in terms of the business goals and what they’re trying to accomplish.  The second things I would call out is that you’re engaging the personnel.  You’ve got people that have great skill sets and now you’re engaging them more openly and more often than they have in the past.  And then lastly, people like to see their companies make investments, and making an investment in a best-of-breed solution like Dynamics NAV allows them to take away from that the experience that their company is not only engaged in them but they are engaged in moving forward as an organization, allowing them to continue to leverage their success.

Russ: Wow.  It sounds like a complete human capital upgrade.

Greg: Well, it should be, and that’s why we call it the human experience.

Russ: All right.  Good deal.  This has been another Thought Leader Production brought to you by PKF Texas, the Entrepreneur’s Playbook.  Tune in next week for another chapter.
