What I do for Clients

Hi, my name is Roland, and I’ve worked for PKF Texas for 6 years. I have 11 years of experience in accounting. I love working with all kinds of clients, and particularly those in Manufacturing and Distribution and Professional Services, focusing on financial reporting, internal controls and systems evaluations.

I appreciate my clients by recognizing the time and effort it’s taken them to build their business. I respect and understand they have a choice in service providers, so I strive every day to demonstrate that they made the right decision in choosing us to help grow and appreciate their business.

When I’m not at work, you can find me exercising, watching sports, reading, or catching up on movies and shows I’m way behind on.

What does “Appreciating Your Business” mean to you?

Appreciating your business means three things: First, you appreciate the business and the business owner. You appreciate the time, the effort, the risk, the struggle, the joys and sadnesses. You appreciate everything that has gone into building the business. You respect and honor that. Knowing that everyone you’re working with has invested in seeing their organization succeed. Second, appreciating your business refers to the work we do — getting down to the nuts-and-bolts to figure out ways to appreciate their business in the financial sense and help it grow. By helping the value of their efforts increase the productivity, profitability, and success of their organization. Third, to appreciate their business is to respect and understand that our clients have a choice as to who they select to be their trusted business advisor. We appreciate that they have selected us, and we strive to live up to the trust they put in us by delivering high-quality, timely services to help grow their business.
