Total Energy USA is coming to Houston this week! This is shaping up to be an impactful conference. It seems like everywhere I go, someone is talking about it or has seen something about it.
Last week, I interviewed Gary Voth, a director in our Tax Department about the panel he is moderating on Wednesday, 11/28. He’s put together some heavy hitters to discuss “Financial Planning for Energy Companies in Uncertain Times.”
The panelists include:
- Dick Williams, President, Shell WindEnergy
- Alexandra Pruner, CFO, Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co.
- Patrick Leach, CEO, Decision Strategies
- Nathaniel Karp, Chief Economist, BBVA Compass
I’ve posted the interview to the blog, so you can get a feel for what they are going to talk about. They will tackle strategies that energy companies can use and are using to plan, financially, in very uncertain times in the energy business. This will include: global markets and geopolitics, domestic energy markets, U.S. political uncertainty, the regulatory environment, U.S. tax policy and capital markets.
Just a quick reminder, as a sponsor, PKF Texas has a special code you may use when you register for the conference to receive a $100 discount. When you register, enter TEU1.
