To be an approachable advisor, you must be a good listener. You also have to be able to build rapport with someone, be able to read their reactions and adjust accordingly. This, in turn, builds trust with the person, allowing them to feel comfortable making you their go-to person. We want our clients to come to us for anything. If we can’t help them directly, it’s likely we know someone who can.
